The International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) celebrated the festival of colors with a spectacular “Sundowner Holi Party”, attended by more than 150 students. The event was marked by enthusiasm, creativity, and a fusion of fashion and tradition.

Students dressed in colorful outfits in line with the Holi theme, adding to the festive spirit. The venue was transformed into a vibrant spectacle with stunning decorations designed by Interior and Fine Arts students, while Fashion Designing students showcased their creativity with Holi-themed outfits. Their artistic efforts not only enhanced the celebration but also highlighted their design skills.

The celebration featured traditional gulal-playing, with students embracing the spirit of harmony and friendship. Taking an eco-friendly approach, students used organic colors made in their own classrooms from natural ingredients, avoiding harmful chemicals. Additionally, they played Holi with flowers, reviving the traditional essence of the festival.

Holi has always been a trendsetting festival in fashion, often influenced by Bollywood. At the party, students took inspiration from iconic Holi looks, such as Deepika Padukone’s white kurta-palazzo ensemble from "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and Shraddha Kapoor’s crop top and denim look from "Baaghi 3." Many also donned traditional sarees and kurta-pajamas reminiscent of classic Holi scenes from films like "Silsila" and "Baghban."

The party was filled with music, dance, and fun activities, keeping the energy high. Students performed on Bollywood and folk tunes, lighting up the stage with their enthusiastic performances. Several games were also organized, making the event even more exciting.

A highlight of the celebration was the “Jamal Jamal Koodu Challenge”, a viral social media trend. Students showcased their creativity by performing the challenge with synchronized moves, adding to the entertainment quotient.

To elevate the festive spirit, a DJ played popular Holi songs, with students dancing energetically throughout the event. Notable performances by Prashi, Pragya, Himanshi, Kashish, Prakriti, Stuti, Rimjhim, and others created an electrifying atmosphere.

The IIFT Sundowner Holi Party proved to be a perfect blend of color, tradition, fashion, and entertainment, making it a memorable celebration for all attendees.
