The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya successfully conducted a three-day Management Development programme (MDP) for dealers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in February, 2025. The programme, designed to enhance managerial and operational skills, was attended by 35 HPCL dealers from different districts of Bihar and was organized in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Prof. Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, emphasised the importance of responsible management and personal effectiveness. The programme aimed to equip participants with strategic thinking, financial acumen, team-building skills, and insights into Industry 4.0, customer-centricity, and operational excellence. Sessions were led by esteemed faculty members. Dr. Samant Saurabh and Dr. Shashank Kumar, the programme coordinators, played a pivotal role in the seamless execution and successful delivery of this enriching programme. Industry experts Devrata Panda, Deputy General Manager, ARB Business, HPCL and Mr. Pankaj Vaswani, Chief General Manager, Patna Retail RO, HPCL also shared valuable insights on leadership, and emerging trends in lubricants and retailing.
The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where participants were awarded certificates of completion. The programme underscored IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to fostering professional growth and addressing the evolving needs of businesses and society.
