School timings changed in State
In view of the scorching heat in Jharkhand, the state government has decided to change the timings of all schools. This order will be applicable to government, non-government, aided, minority schools and all private schools. The order will be effective from April 26. Classes from class KG to 8th will run from 7:00 am to 11:30 am. Classes from class 9th to 12th will be conducted from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. Jharkhand is in the grip of severe heat these days. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning for the next three days. Heat wave is expected in the southern and north-eastern parts of the state on April 25.
CPS pays tributes to Pahalgam victims
A heartfelt tribute was paid to the tourists killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Thursday at Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road. Students and teachers observed two minutes of silence and prayed for the peace of the souls of the tourists. On the occasion, Principal Premlata Kumari said that there is no place for terror and violence in any democratic system. She condemned this act of the terrorists and prayed for the peace of the souls of the dead tourists and expressed condolences to their families. She wished for the speedy recovery of the injured tourists. All the teachers, non-teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.
