Senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Vinod Kumar Pandey strongly condemned the disgusting and shameful act of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey, in which he turned his 25th wedding anniversary in Gulmarg, Kashmir into a tamasha full of debauchery under the guise of VVIP security. This royal gathering organized on 14 April 2025 is the dark face of intoxication of power, extreme insensitivity towards the public and BJP's anti-people policies, which no one can cover now. When Kashmir was in the grip of terrorist threats, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey was celebrating his personal happiness by misusing government resources.
He said that this is an open betrayal of the hard-earned money of the people and the security of the country. BJP state president Babulal Marandi and all his mouthpieces, who daily rant about the government of tribal youth Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Jharkhand, should also express their views on this. But the truth is that their voice is not going to be raised in this matter. Nishikant Dubey even treats the Supreme Court with disdain. He does not believe in the Constitution and wants to implement Manusmriti in the country. The terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22 took the lives of 26 innocent tourists, but look at the shameless attitude of Nishikant Dubey and his party - while the common citizens were immersed in terror and grief, this BJP MP was sharing pictures of his anniversary on social media with pride.
Pandey asked whether this is BJP's "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas"? It is clear that for them "Leader First, People Last" is the real policy. This disgusting misuse of VVIP security in Gulmarg happened at a time when the tribals, farmers and labourers, Dalits, backward, minority and economically backward communities of the country are suffering from unemployment, inflation and BJP's policies of looting. Nishikant Dubey, will you give this answer to the voters of your Godda parliamentary constituency that your royal life is more valuable than their misery
Pandey said that from the very beginning, BJP's policies have been to fill the capitalists and its coffers. Whether it is the misuse of security system in Kashmir or the looting of mineral wealth in Jharkhand during its 18 years of rule, BJP has always crushed the interests of the people. This act of Nishikant Dubey is a symbol of the mentality of his party, which considers the common man as an insect.
The JMM General Secretary said that JMM will not remain silent against this shamelessness. We demand that Nishikant Dubey immediately apologize for this disgusting act and there should be an independent investigation into this matter. BJP should understand that their anti-people policies have now been exposed in the court of the people. The aware people of Jharkhand and JMM together will shatter the arrogance of this government. Under the leadership of Hemant Soren, we will build such a Jharkhand where the voice of the people will be paramount and those who misuse power will be brought to justice.
