Medicant Hospital, Bokaro, observed World Heart Day 2025 by organizing a free health check-up camp for cardiac and general patients, aimed at spreading awareness about heart health and preventive care. The initiative witnessed wide participation from citizens who benefitted from consultations and diagnostic services.
Highlighting this year’s theme “Don’t Miss a Beat,” Dr. Navneet Kumar Bakhla, DM (Cardiology), stressed the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices, undergoing regular screenings, and recognizing early warning signs to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Strengthening Bokaro’s healthcare facilities, Medicant Hospital announced that two full-time cardiologists are now available round-the-clock to manage cardiac emergencies. The hospital has also introduced an advanced Philips Azurion ceiling-mounted Cath Lab—the only one of its kind in Bokaro and among the few in Jharkhand—bringing world-class interventional cardiac care closer to the community.
