Misrod police recue man after attempted suicide at Jalsa Hotel

Misrod police rescued a man from Jalsa Hotel located in Misrod area after he ate 30 sleeping pills and sent a suicide note to his family claiming that he is fed up with life. When the family informed the Misrod police, he was rescued and admitted to the hospital.

The incident was reported on Friday evening around 7.30 pm. Information was received that a youth Ashish Rajput (52) has consumed 30 sleepng pills with the intention of committing suicide in Jalsa Hotel. Immediately the team was sent to the spot. It was seen that the door of the hotel was locked from inside. A police personnel entered the room through the window and opened the gate and immediately took him to Nobel Hospital and admitted him. Where his treatment is going on.

It is found he is a relative of former Congress minister Rajkumar Patel.

According to Misrod police Ashish Singh Rajput lives in Vidyanagar Baghsewania. He left home on Friday evening. After some time he reached room number 302 of Hotel Jalsa located on Narmadapuram Road.

From where he sent a suicide note to the mobile number of his family members. In this, he talked about suicide and wrote that I am going to commit suicide of my own free will. No one is responsible for this. I am fed up with life.

After reading the suicide note, the family got scared. After this, Misrod police station in-charge Manish Raj Singh Bhadoria was called. The police station in-charge immediately sent a team to Hotel Jalsa. The policemen broke the window of the room and entered inside.

Saw that he had eaten about 30 tablets. Seeing his health deteriorating, the policemen immediately picked him up and took him to the nearby Nobel Hospital. Where treatment is going on. Police station in-charge Manish Raj Singh Bhadoria said that the reason for which Ashish was going to commit suicide has not been revealed.

In a separate incident a 38-year-old man committed suicide by haning with the ceiling late on Friday night. The family members have told the police that he committed suicide after a quarrel with his wife under the influence of alcohol.

The deceased used to quarrel with his wife every day under the influence of alcohol. Investigation has been started by registering a case in the matter.

Raju Rajak (38) was a resident of Bhim Nagar Sabji Mandi. He used to work as a labourer. He was addicted to alcohol. The family has a daughter Priyanshi and 11 year old son Yash. Wife Naini also works as a domestic help.

On Friday night, Raju returned home after drinking alcohol. He had an argument with his wife while intoxicated. After this, he went to his room. Late at night, his wife saw the body hanging from the noose. With the help of neighbors, the body was taken down from the noose.

After this, the police were informed. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. Police say that no suicide note has been found from the scene of the incident. Further action will be taken after detailed statements of the family members.
