Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that empowering Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, skill development and employment have been kept at the core in the Union Budget 2025. Madhya Pradesh is ready to take advantage of this opportunity and develop the state as a 'Skill Power State'. CM Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are creating an environment where every youth will get training according to the latest industrial needs. With this, the talent of the state will make its mark not only at the national but also at the global level.
Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh will especially benefit from the establishment of 5 National Skill Excellence Centres announced in the Union Budget-2025. Through these centres, the "Make for India and Make for the World" campaign will be strengthened, which will promote advanced training of trainers, certification system and industry-related courses in the state. CM Dr. Yadav has described this initiative as a historic opportunity for the youth of the state. He said that Madhya Pradesh is ready to touch new heights of skill development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the announcement of a Fund of Funds of Rs 10 thousand crore for start-ups will give a new direction to innovation and entrepreneurship in Madhya Pradesh. The state government is preparing a special action plan to take maximum advantage of this fund, so that local start-ups can get capital and structural support.
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment, Gautam Tetwal said that "This budget not only addresses skill development, but also presents a model of holistic development by linking it with employment. We will give priority to digital learning, AI based education and training programmes in Madhya Pradesh in line with the requirements of new industries. This will open the doors of employment and entrepreneurship for the youth." He said that a comprehensive strategy is being prepared by the Department of Skill Development and Employment to effectively implement the schemes announced in the Union Budget at the state level.
The Chief Minister said that the budget emphasises on the Global Capability Centre (GCC) framework, which will give Madhya Pradesh an opportunity to set up skill centres of global companies in tier-2 cities. This will prepare talented youth in accordance with the global market.
Provision of Mudra loan has been made in the tourism and hospitality industry. The government will provide special financial assistance to the youth to promote home-stay and rural tourism, which will bolster the local economy.
For the first time, the government is going to connect 5 lakh youth with online capacity building and entrepreneurship training for Scheduled Caste and Tribe women and entrepreneurs of deprived communities.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this budget is a powerful step towards making Madhya Pradesh a centre of skill and innovation. New skilling hubs, GCC centres and funding for startups in the state will create innumerable employment opportunities. Carrying forward the self-reliant India vision of Prime Minister Modi, Madhya Pradesh is moving towards becoming the "Skill Hub of India". Minister Gautam Tetwal said that the state government will prepare a new strategy in the coming years to link skill development directly with employment, so that every youth can get opportunities according to his ability.
This budget is not just a document of financial allocation, but the beginning of a new era where skill will become the foundation of a developed society, developed state and developed country.
