In a major step toward enhancing commuter convenience and boosting productivity for professionals, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) inaugurated a smart co-working space for professionals at the Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station on Sunday.

Located at the station’s concourse level, the co-working hub features 42 open workstations, 11 private cabins, and 2 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, offering a wide variety of options for startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers and remote workers.

It supports focused individual work, dynamic team collaboration and professional client interactions, making it an attractive option for professionals in and around Ghaziabad. Strategically positioned near Meerut Tiraha Mor and seamlessly connected to Shahid Sthal Delhi metro station, the Ghaziabad station experiences high daily footfall.

The new co-working space allows commuters to save travel time and

maximise their productivity during the day, especially those without a dedicated office space. The facility offers plug-and-play desks, high-speed internet and 24/7 access, providing a cost-effective alternative to conventional office setups.

Enhanced with biometric and keycard entry, IoT-enabled lighting and climate control, video conferencing tools and automated room booking, the space reflects a cutting-edge design philosophy.

Users can also benefit from QR-enabled services for hot desk bookings and vending machine purchases.

In a related move to transform transit hubs into lifestyle-centric spaces, NCRTC has partnered with Coca-Cola to launch a refreshment zone in the premium lounge at Ghaziabad station. The lounge, furnished with comfortable seating and a stocked beverage fridge, provides passengers with a relaxing space to recharge.

This initiative aligns with NCRTC’s broader strategy to turn Namo Bharat stations into vibrant community spaces that go beyond transit, while also helping generate non-fare revenue and improve commuter satisfaction.
