RPC pays tributes to Pahalgam victims, Manmohan Singh

Heartfelt tributes were paid to the martyrs of the Pahalgam attack and journalist Manmohan Singh, who was an active member of the Ranchi Press Club. On this occasion, journalists also burnt an effigy of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. In this hour of grief, tribute was paid to all the martyrs of Pahalgam and the late journalist Manmohan Singh, who was a member of the Press Club, by observing two minutes of silence.

During this, in his statement, Press Club President Surendra Soren said that this massacre is an attack on the dignity of India, the people of the country will not tolerate it, the Government of India is requested to take strict steps to stop terrorism so that after Pulwama and Pahalgam, no other terrorist incident can be repeated in the country. Soren also said lovingly to the late journalist friend that the death of a person like Manmohan Singh is an irreparable loss to the journalist fraternity, may God give peace to his soul.

Thereafter, all the journalist friends burnt the effigy of Pakistan outside the Press Club and raised anti-Pakistan and anti-terrorism slogans. On this occasion, former President Rajesh Singh, President Surendra Lal Soren, Secretary Amarkant, Joint Secretary Ratan Lal, Treasurer Kuber Singh, Executive Committee Member Alok Sinha, Raju Prasad, Vijay Mishra, Chandan Bhattacharya, Monu Kumar, Saurabh Kumar Shukla, Sandeep Mishra, Saurav Kumar, Chandan Verma, Kamlesh Mishra, Vijay Yadav, Parvez Khan, Nitish Kumar, Gemini Sarkar and dozens of other journalist colleagues were present. All of them raised their voices against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and demanded strict action from the government.
