Samvidhan Gaurav Diwas | BJP questions commitment of Cong to Ambedkar’s ideals and legacy

Saturday, 25 January 2025 | PNS | Ranchi

BJP Ranchi Mahanagar organised a seminar today under the Samvidhan Gaurav Diwas. As the chief guest in the seminar, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda elaborated on the objectives of the campaign and the relevance of the programme.

While congratulating and wishing the Constitution on its completion of 75 years in the Amrit Year of Independence, he said that our Constitution is not just a collection of words, sections and articles but a religious text on which all Indians are proud.

He said that the Jan Sangh and BJP were established to implement the Constitution in the country. Our inspirational man Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed his life with the slogan of Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan.  He said that Rahul Gandhi has been roaming around with the book of the Constitution since the last Lok Sabha elections. He has come to know that the BJP is rapidly bringing the sections of the Constitution to the ground and its basic sentiments. It is exposing the intentions of the Congress, due to which the Congress is sure to be wiped out.

He said that the Congress party is irritated with non-Congress governments. Today they are losing power in the country, in various states, yet they want the rights of 1952.

He said that as soon as the government was formed again in 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought the thinking of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee to reality by abolishing Article 370.

Munda said that it took three decades for the Congress party to issue a notification regarding the implementation of the Constitution. The public had to elect the Congress government 6 times.

Munda stated that the Congress party is not concerned about Dalits and tribals but is concerned about its own existence. The Congress party only wants to keep Dalits and tribals as weapons.

He said that those who talk about the Constitution deprived a woman of her rights despite the Supreme Court's order in the Shah Bano case. He said that an attempt was made to murder democracy by imposing emergency. He said that Jaipal Singh Munda ji used to disagree with the ideas of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, while he completely agreed with the ideas of Dr. Ambedkar.

He said that Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was concerned about the whole country. He knew that when one class lags behind, the whole country lags behind. That is why he made provisions in the Constitution.

He said that today in Narendra Modi's government, tribals, Dalits are joining the mainstream of backward development. Today a tribal woman from a normal family is adorning the highest constitutional post of the country, His Excellency the President.

National spokesperson Guruprakash Paswan, while addressing the program as a special guest, said that the Congress party is today claiming Ambedkar ji's legacy, which harassed Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar even when he was alive, humiliated him and also humiliated him posthumously.

He said that the Constitution of India is the faith of 144 crore countrymen which has been constantly insulted by Congress. The preamble has been torn to shreds. He said that late Rajiv Gandhi ji opposed Mandal Commission, today Rahul Gandhi ji opposes reservation on foreign soil. He said that as long as BJP is there, no one has the courage to end reservation.
