Doctors Day was celebrated at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital (SSEH) on Tuesday, with a special event organized to honor the contributions of ophthalmologists, physicians, and anesthesiologists. On this occasion, Secretary Hero Gyanchandani extended his congratulations and best wishes to all the doctors. He shared the exciting news that the hospital would soon be relocating to its new building at Airport Road, Gandhinagar, with construction nearing completion.
The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony with all doctors from SSEH participating together in the celebration. Chairman of Sewa Sadan Trust, Sant Siddh Bhauji, also congratulated the doctors, emphasizing the significant role ophthalmologists play in controlling blindness. He reflected on the teachings of Paramhansa Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji, who always encouraged compassionate service for eye patients. Bhauji acknowledged that due to the dedication and care of the ophthalmologists, countless eye patients have received vital help.
In his message, Sant Siddh Bhauji highlighted the gratitude of not only the Sewa Sadan management but also all sections of society toward the doctors for their relentless work.
During the felicitation ceremony, several esteemed doctors, including Dr. Rashmi Apte, Dr. Sapna Srivastava, Dr. Sarita Kumar, Dr. Rohini Garde, Dr. Shubha Rai, Dr. Sonal Paliwal, Dr. Preeti Bamhane, Dr. Swati Sahu, and Dr. Hriday Mohan Sharma, exchanged well-wishes for Doctors Day. Trustees, including Tulsi Adwani, Suresh Awatramani, K.L. Ramnani, and Sant Sewak L.C. Janyani, also attended the event. The program was conducted by Director Kushal Dharmani.
