Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa condemned the attack on Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sahib by Pakistani Army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Wednesday, in which three Sikh devotees have reportedly been killed.
After Operation Sindoor, the Pakistan Army continued its series of ceasefire violations by targeting civilian areas in the border areas of J and K on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of at least 12 civilians and injuries to 57 others. Officials said the shelling caused panic among villagers and damaged several houses. Visuals from the scene showed damaged civilian infrastructure, shattered window panes, cracked walls, and debris scattered across the lanes of the village.
Minister Sirsa said that this shows the cowardly attitude of the Pakistan Army.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Manjinder Singh Sirsa disclosed that he has talked with President of the Gurdwara Sahib, Sardar Narinder Singh and has assured all possible help for the affected families. He said that Gurdwara Sahib is totally safe in this attack and those who have died were sitting in their shops and houses.
