Tuesday, 15 April 2025 | PNS | Ranchi

On the second day of the BJP's Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan Baba Saheb Ambedkar's birth anniversary was celebrated by the party in the entire state. Tributes were paid by garlanding Baba Saheb's pictures and statues at the booth level in all the districts including the state headquarters.

On Sunday, the party workers, office bearers, public representatives, MPs, MLAs celebrated Deepotsav by cleaning the statue of Baba Saheb and lighting lamps in the evening.

On Monday, BJP State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi garlanded Baba Saheb's statue at Ambedkar Chowk in Dhanbad and paid his respects to him.

On this occasion, Marandi said that Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was not only the architect of the Constitution of this country but also the creator of the nation.

He said that through the Constitution, Baba Saheb gave strength to the poor and deprived society of the country. Also, emphasis was laid on strengthening national unity in the Constitution.

He said that Baba Saheb made provision for reservation for the all-round development of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, their socio-economic upliftment, while he strongly opposed Section 370 and religion-based reservation which weakened national unity.

Marandi said that the Congress Party and today's INDI alliance are attacking Baba Saheb's ideas. The Congress Party, disrespecting Baba Saheb's ideas, made provision for Section 370 for Kashmir on the pretext of temporary arrangement.

He said that today the Congress government is insisting on implementing religion-based reservation. Reservation of backward classes is being cut and given to the Muslim community.

At the BJP state office, Scheduled Caste Front organized a program of garlanding pictures of Baba Saheb. In which state treasurer Deepak Banka, Shiv Pujan Pathak, Rakesh Bhaskar, Pawan Sahu, Yogendra Lal, Rajiv Lal, Ranjan Paswan, Rajendra Paswan, Subodhkant, Govind Balmiki, Yogendra Paswan, Piyush Sarkar, Balveer Saluja and others were present.
