The State Camp for Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2024-25 was organised at Scope Global Skills University. Sanjay Patwa, Joint Director of the State Education Centre, chaired the event.
In its 11th year now, the Manthan or brainstorming competition is held under the joint aegis of Vigyan Bharti, NCERT, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and the NCSM, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It has been organised across India for students between classes 6 and 11.
Over 125 students, selected from 16 districts of Central India, participated in the competition, which consisted of written exams, practical exams, reasoning tasks, and video-based questions.
Two students (first and second place) from each class will be selected to participate in the national competition at IIT Kanpur.
During the event, Ashutosh Singh, Director of IIIT Bhopal, interacted with the students in a scientific dialogue and addressed their queries.
At the closing session, Anil Kothari, Director General of the MP Council of Science and Technology, spoke to the students about the bright tradition of science in India and presented awards to the winners.
