There will be no shortage of staff in Govt hospitals: Secy

Additional Chief Secretary of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Ajay Kumar Singh reviewed the operational system of Sadar Hospital and other health centers with all the civil surgeons and hospital deputy superintendents in his office through video conference. He directed all to take action in accordance with the 'Guidelines for Hospital Management' issued by departmental resolution 58 (21), dated 11. 4.2025.

The Additional Chief Secretary has directed the civil surgeons of all the districts to fill the shortage of personnel in the hospital as soon as possible. He directed everyone to assess and make available all types of necessary equipment and machines from Sadar Hospital to Primary Health Centers. If funds are required for this, then demand can be made from the department. He also reviewed the innovative experiments done in the last 6 months, work and claims done under Ayushman Bharat, Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana, process to be started in the coming 3 months and formation of panel of specialist and super specialist doctors. All civil surgeons were directed to prepare a panel of super specialist/experts by the end of this month. The updated status of installation of machines under the state scheme and the operations started by them were also reviewed. Singh directed to convert the OT in all Sadar hospitals into the most modern OT.

The works done under the Chief Minister Maintenance and Operation Scheme were also reviewed during this period and it was directed that the repair and painting of all health centers and sub centers should be done and photographs of the work done should be made available to the department. Under the mentoring scheme, the Additional Chief Secretary also directed the senior resident of the medical college and hospital related to the district to establish a connection with the team and start various types of clinical procedures.

Singh also assessed the ambulance system of the district. He directed that the ambulance should be repaired soon so that the patients do not face any problem. Officers including Lalit Mohan Shukla and Vidyanand Sharma Pankaj were also present in this meeting.
