A tree plantation programme was organised today by the Water Supply Department of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in collaboration with DAV Ispat School, Sector 02, under the leadership of BSL Director In-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari. The initiative aimed to promote greenery and biodiversity in the city and raise environmental awareness among schoolchildren.
On this occasion, several senior officials of BSL participated, including Executive Director (Works) C.R. Mahapatra, Executive Director (HR) Rajshree Banerjee, Executive Director (Materials Management) C.R. Mishra, Executive Director (Mines) Vikas Manawati, and Chief General Manager (Technical) Lakshmi Das.
The programme saw enthusiastic involvement from BSL executives and employees along with the principal, teachers, and students of DAV Ispat School, Sector 02. The event reaffirmed BSL’s commitment to sustainability and community-driven environmental efforts.
