MSc & MPhil
The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management- Kerala (IIITM-K), an autonomous institute established by the Government of Kerala, is inviting applications from graduates for admission to its MSc and MPhil courses. A total of 160 seats are available in various streams and the degrees are awarded by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT).
The courses are MSc Computer Science with specialisation in Cyber Security, Machine Intelligence, Data Analytics and Geospatial Analytics; MPhil Ecological Informatics and MPhil Computer Science. It also offers a part-time course for working professionals.
Eligibility: For MSc programme (full-time), candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Engineering/Technology with Mathematics as a subject of study with a minimum score of 60 per cent marks or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 above in 10 points.
For MSc Geospatial analytics, candidates must have above mentioned qualifications or graduation/specialisation in Geosciences (with 60 per cent marks).
For MSc Computer Science Programme (part time), bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Engineering/ Technology with Mathematics as a subject of study with a minimum score of 60 per cent marks or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 above in 10 points. Duration of the course is three years. Classes will be conducted on Saturdays, and there will be morning/ evening sessions on weekdays.
For MPhil Computer Science programme, MSc/MCA/MTech Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics/Computer Science/Geo-informatics) having minimum of three papers in Computer Science/IT in the qualifying examination is mandatory.
Candidates having MSc in Natural Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science and Plant Science) or Physical Sciences can apply for MPhil Ecological Informatics programme.
Selection process: Admissions to MSc programmes are based on IIITM-K Common Admission Test (ITCAT)/valid GATE score. MPhil admissions will be based on IIITM-K Research Aptitude Test (ITRAT)/ valid GATE or NET score.
Important dates: Last date to apply is May 31, 2018. The online entrance test is scheduled on June 10, 2019.
The International Institute of Health Management Research, Delhi, invites applications for its PGD in Hospital and Health Management. This two-year full-time programme is equivalent to MBA at IIHMR Delhi.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved category) in the qualifying exam in the aggregate. Should have taken any one of the tests like CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT. Candidates appearing at the final year exam of the Bachelor’s degree or waiting for their final results may also apply.
Selection procedure: Candidates will be invited for group discussion and interview. The final selection of the candidate is based on his performance in the qualifying exam with proportional score in the management apptitude test, gropu discussion and interview. Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of the interview.
