App for test takers

Pearson Test of English (PTE) recently launched a collection of resources to help prepare test-takers for the academy. This is a fresh addition  including The Official Guide, now available as an Indian reprint. To make the preparation easy for students two brand-new volumes of tests, tips and preparation planners in the Practice Tests volume 2 and Practice Test for Aspire C1 have been released. The suite of resources is now tailor-made to suit every requirement.

The practice test series — Volumes 1 and 2 — comprise unique practice exercises with graduated challenge levels and four complete tests to enhance English language skills of students. Powered by the PTE Academic Active app which hosts the e-book along with listening and speaking audios, resources are accessible to students easily anytime and anywhere without any hassle.

MOU on skilling

Microsoft India signed an MoU with the Department of College Education, Rajasthan to improve the integration of technology in teaching and skilling of students and educators in government colleges.

Through this initiative the Government aims to build tech capacity and enhance digital literacy among students and faculty in colleges under the ambit of the Department of College Education as well as improve digital citizenship in the State. This agreement follows the announcement by the Minister of Higher Education during the last Vidhan Sabha session that Microsoft would impart training to students and faculty members.
