Surgical strike, a big boost to our soldiers

This refers to the editorial, “Calling Pakistan's bluff”. Kudos to the Indian Army for its thoroughly professional, seamless surgical operation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to eliminate terrorists camps. The icing on the cake was that our brave soldiers came back without any collateral damage. It was sheer gallantry. I am sure, this would have surprised not only Pakistan, but many other countries. It was an anti-terror operation and not an anti-Pakistan operation. The message is clear: India is more than ready to help Pakistan eliminate terror from its soil.

The reason for the successful operation was a strong political will and national consensus to eliminate terrorism. This will also boost the morale of our soldiers as they have now got the right kind of leadership. One critical lesson that Pakistan needs to learn from this surgical operation is that continuous provocation will be
