40 children take part in card making

The young artists showcased their talent and creativity through painting and art and craft over the greeting cards. As New Year is on its way, the children of Jawahar Bal Bhavan are seen quite excited. A greeting card making competition was held at Jawahar Bal Bhavan on Thursday.

The competition was organised by handcraft department of Jawahar Bal Bhavan to encourage the children in art and craft. The competition was conducted by Ajay Yadav. As many as 40 children from different schools participated in the competition.

Children displayed their talents and prepared greeting cards with various attractive designs with the help of paper, cardboard and handmade paper. In which Sammy Khan won the first prize, Pramod Karrishya won the second prize and Satakshi Parve won the third prize under senior category.

UUnder junior category Laksh Singh won the first prize, Anil Hajari second and Kartik Sharma got third prize. Director, Jawahar Bal Bhawan, Smt. Tripti Tripathi said that children are introducing their artistry with the organizing of such creative competitions.

Amazingly, the gusto among the participants was worth watching. It was amazing to watch that little artists creatively portrayed about such issues wondrously. The competition was like an extravagance for the little artists and the spectators as well, as they have used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet. Further the little artists also displayed the uniqueness and beauty of a peaceful world through the variations of colours and origami as well was commendable.
