Youth hangs himself after losing bank job

Depressed over losing job and facing financial problems, a 30-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at C- Sector Shahpura residence under Chunabhatti police station area on Friday.

Police said that the deceased Ram Raghuvanshi was found hanging and declared dead when rushed to a nearby hospital.

Investigating Officer ASI Phool Singh said that the deceased was facing financial problems as he was removed from cooperative bank where he joined three months ago. The process and appointment of new appointments was challenged and the newly appointed was removed.After this, he was dejected and committed suicide.

The deceased worked as an accountant with Bansal College before joining with the Coperative bank.

The details of the post and cooperative bank are yet to be searched as the deceased had not shared much detail about the new job, he added.

Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

In an another incident, a 32-year-old married woman committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Barkheda Pathani under Govindpura police station area on Friday.

According to the police, the deceased Mamta Meena was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Police said that the deceased consumed poison or she was poisoned would be investigated as the post mortem report is awaited.

The reason behind the suicide remained unknown and would be investigated during the further investigation.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post-mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
