Following several complaints of bike thefts in the district, a special team had been formed which nabbed the looters, the SP said.

The arrested were identified as Ashis Mohanty of Mayurbhanj, Mrutyunjay Nayak, Purna Ch Jena, Nasiruddin Saha, Manoranjan Dalei, Sushanta Das and Subala Charan Mahallik, all hailing from Baleswar. They were later forwarded to court.
