Rahul Gandhi will visit Parliamentary constituency of Amethi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi will visit his Parliamentary constituency of Amethi for two days starting Thursday.

Congress sources said in Lucknow on Monday that during his stay, Rahul would attend several functions and also inspect developmental works in his constituency. The Congress chief was likely to lay the foundation stone of some projects financed by the MP’s Local Area Development Fund.

Rahul’s visit will take place after the party’s Iftar and OBC conference in New Delhi and if Eid is celebrarted on June 15, then he would be present in his constituency. This would Rahul’s second visit to his Parliamentary constituency in the last three months. 

A SPG team has already reached Amethi and they were inspecting the places where the Congress president would visit.
