Four get life for murders

The ADJ – II of Bokaro awarded life imprisonment with a fine of Rs 5,000 to a man for killing his wife.

The court awarded life term to Mithun Tanti for killing his wife as the court found him guilty. Presently he was residing at Sector 8 in Bokaro Steel City under Herla Police Station; he killed his wife on 6 November 2015 at Gurunanak Colony Dundibagh under Sector 12 Police Station.

An FIR was lodged by the brother of the deceased at Sector 12 OP vide case no 517/15, said RK Rai Advocate of district Court Bokaro. On the charges of brutally killing his wife Tanti was convicted by the court awarded life term, he informed.

In another verdict the ADJ – I Bokaro court Ranjit Kumar awarded life imprisonment with RI and a fine of rupees 10 thousand to three for killing their friend.

The court awarded life term to Sabbir Ansari, Sarfaraj Hussain and M Khan for killing Abdul Khan; all of them are the residents of Azad Nagar under Marafari Police Station. 

The killed Abdul on 20 October 2012, police recovered the body on 21 October near the colony. An FIR was lodged by the family of the deceased at Marafari Police station vide case no 73/12, said SK Jha Advocate of district Court Bokaro.

“On the basis of evidence all three were convicted by the court and awarded life term,” added Jha.
