Anupam Kher’s favourite actor

Veteran actor ANUPAM KHER says Govinda is his favourite actor and that he was glad to bump into him in London recently. “I have done a number of films with him. Shola Aur Shabnam and Haseena Maan Jayegi are two of my favourites. There is no one who can match his spontaneity. Hero No 1, superb actor, great dancer,” was how Anupam captioned the image with Chi Chi. The two have featured in films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Aunty No. 1,Deewana Mastana and Hatya.

“As a child, I looked up to my father as a son...He was never a film star to me. I look at him like my guru, my birth giver and a real-life inspiration. I always wanted to be a good human being like him but never intended to copy his acting style. I never wanted to lose my individuality, so yes, I tried to create my own signature style.”

TV actress KARISHMA TANNA, who is all set to make an impact on the big screen with Sanju, says working with the film's director Rajkumar Hirani was a landmark moment in her life. “It was lovely to work with him (Hirani). When I got a call (from him) I was very thrilled. He was one of the directors on my bucket list, I got a big tick mark there,” says Tanna.

Veteran actor ROBERT DE NIRO, who appeared at the 72nd Annual Tony Awards to introduce Bruce Springsteen’s performance of a contemplative, piano-accompanied version of My Hometown, burst out with two bluntly profane blasts aimed at US President Donald Trump.

“I'm just going to say one thing... F**k Trump!” De Niro said at the gala on Sunday night.

When the astonished audience broke out into a mix of laughter and gasps, he paused for a few seconds and then followed with: “It's no longer ‘down with Trump. It's f**k Trump!’”

“He's Robert De Niro,” joked  Tony Kushner. “Who's going to argue with him?”
