Achyut Ghatak, Director (Technical/RD&T), CMPDI, Ranchi delivered a keynote highlighting how Renewable Energy Integrated Pumped Storage Plants (PSPs) can revolutionize India's journey towards Net Zero emissions at the ongoing 14th World PetroCoal Congress-2024 (WPCC-2024) at New Delhi. Ghatak emphasizing the role of the Coal industry in repurposing abandoned mines for PSPs sparked discussions on sustainability and innovation. The keynote was lauded by both national and international delegates.
WPCC-2024 was focused on "Energy, Environment, Efficiency, Equity & Entrepreneurship for a greener Planet", where more than 97 National and International speakers participated in the conference to provide the focal points for translating Knowledge into action. PetroCoal congress is the only congress on Petroleum-Gas-Coal industries with a focus on synergy of Energy.
