JBKSS candidate arrested before nomination

Ranchi Lok Sabha candidate of JBKSS, Devendra Nath Mahato, who came to file nomination, was arrested by the police on Saturday. Mahato was arrested by Ranchi Police from Ranchi Collectorate on Saturday.

Mahto was arrested in the Assembly protest case in Ranchi. In the Assembly protest case, case number 48/22 was registered in Nagari police station. In this case, a warrant was issued against Devendra Nath Mahato and many others.

Jairam Mahato had filed nomination from Giridih Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday. He handed over nomination papers to Bokaro DC Vijaya Jadhav. After this he requested the police that he was holding an election meeting in Chas, Bokaro. Permission for election meeting should be given. The police gave permission for this.

Jairam addressed the public meeting and since then there is no trace of him. Ranchi Police had reached Ranchi to arrest him in the Assembly siege case, but had to return empty handed. A warrant was issued against Jairam.

According to the information, Devendra Nath Mahato had secretly reached the Collectorate wearing tribal traditional attire. During this time, the police, waiting in advance, noticed Devendra and arrested him. Let us tell you that today Devendra Nath had come to file the nomination, but even before the nomination, the police arrested him.
