Substantial increase in assets of MLA Dhulu Mahato in 5 years

There has been a substantial increase in the wealth of MLA Dhulu Mahato and his wife Savitri Devi in the last five years.This has been shown in the affidavit filed by him as a Lok Sabha candidate on Tuesday.
According to the information given by the MLA in the affidavit, he has a total of movable and immovable assets worth Rs 3 crore 82 lakh 26 thousand 944, which includes land, vehicles, jewellery, bank deposits and fixed deposits, bonds and debentures, national savings certificates and others.  This  is approximately Rs 50 lakh more than the details given in the affidavit given in the 2019 MLA elections.
Whereas his wife Savitri Devi,  as per the details given in the affidavit, is an employee of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), has assets worth approximately Rs 65 lakh, 24 thousand,867  .
Dhulu  as karta  of a Hindu undivided family  has assets worth Rs 37 lakh, 24 thousand 305. He has also shown some assets in the name of his minor children. He has shown real estate in Dhanbad and Ranchi.

The MLA and his wife have a total of six weapons. Both of them also have one pistol, one rifle and one gun each. All together  three licenses issued in the name of the MLA's wife have been issued by the Ranchi district administration whereas three in the name of Dhullu.
The MLA and his wife also have 13 LIC policies, the total value of which is around Rs 37 lakh.
Total 20 cases against MLA:
According to the affidavit, a total of 20 cases are registered against the MLA in different police stations. He has said that he has been punished by the court in two cases and he has appealed against it in the High Court. Cases are registered under sections 307, 323, 378, 594, 120B, 507 and other sections of the IPC.
According to the affidavit, the MLA is also a shareholder of Munden Ore  Management Services Private Limited. This company is currently working on four contracts in BCCL and one in Indian Oil Limited .
