Sunita Kejriwal, wife of national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is all set to participate in the INDIA Alliance rally for the second time to be held in Jharkhand’s Capital city Ranchi on April 21.
Delhi Minister and senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said that all the big leaders of INDIA Alliance are coming to the mega rally including Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann, Sunita Kejriwal, and MP Sanjay Singh, who will participate in this rally on behalf of the AAP.
“Just as the ED arrested CM Arvind Kejriwal, in the same way the sitting Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren was arrested by the ED without any evidence. Due to this, the people of Jharkhand are angry with the BJP. When all the leaders of INDIA Alliance will stand with Hemant Soren through the rally, a big atmosphere will be created against the BJP in Jharkhand,” he said.
According to sources, apart from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Jharkhand CM Champai Soren will also participate in this mega rally. Under the pretext of this rally, the leaders of India Block will try to give the message that all the opposition parties are standing strongly in the elections.
There are also discussions that Kalpana Soren, wife of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, may also attend this rally. Kalpana Soren has also been very active since Hemant Soren went to jail in the land scam case and has participated in the rallies of opposition parties in Mumbai and Delhi. She also shared the stage with Sunita Kejriwal at the INDIA bloc’s ‘Loktantra Bachao’ (Save Democracy) rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
The wife of AAP chief has come into limelight since the arrest of Kejriwal in the alleged excise policy linked money laundering scam. Last Wednesday itself, AAP had released the list of 40 star campaigners for Gujarat. The former civil servant’s name is at number two in this list. Arvind Kejriwal’s name is at number one.
According to sources, after becoming a star campaigner, AAP workers are trying to woo women voters in the name of Sunita Kejriwal. According to Election Commission data, there are a total of 1.47 crore voters in Delhi including 67 lakh woman voters.
