Chhattisgarh Congress chief Deepak Baij on Monday said the five guarantees assured by his party will ensure bringing youths, women and labourers the mainstream.
These guarantees would be instrumental in legal patronage of these deprived sections of the society, he said.
The Congress has promised Kisan Nyay, Yuva Nyay, Nari Nyay, Shramik Nyay and Hissedari Nyay and they bring a ray of hope to people of country, he said.
These five Nyay promises are -- Legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops to farmers; Social security for gig workers; Rs 5,000 crore fund for startups; 30 lakh vacant government jobs; and law to curb government recruitment examination question paper leaks, he said.
He further accused the Modi government of lacking the intent to provide jobs to the youth.
“As part of our focus on employment, the Congress is considering introducing a 'right to apprenticeship' for the youth in its manifesto. This initiative aims to provide vocational education within the system, followed by internships with private and government companies,” he said.
