CM holds road show in Bastar

Saturday, 13 April 2024 | Staff Reporter | JAGDALPUR

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was on Bastar’s tour on Friday and held a road show in Jagdalpur town in favour of BJP candidate Mahesh Kashyap.

Earlier he addressed a public rally at Bijapur and sought vote for BJP candidate.

Sai said there was no possibility that Congress will be able to form the government at the Centre. Congress is facing the dearth of candidates and fed up with the party’s directionless policies. He added that Congress leaders and cadres are joining BJP in large numbers.

Sai said that previous Bhupesh Baghel government duped the villagers and had even done ‘scam’ in purchase of cow-dung. The accused of scams are now behind the bars and are reaping what they have sown in the form of wrong doings, he remarked.

Sai said the people in Bastar handed over BJP 8 out of 12 assembly seats and voters in Bastar would bless the BJP again in Lok Sabha polls scheduled on April 19.
