Congress candidate Gunsola files nomination papers from Tehri LS

The Congress candidate from Tehri Lok Sabha constituency Jot Singh Gunsola filed his nomination papers on Tuesday.  Large number of party workers and leaders were present on the occasion to extend their support to Gunsola.

Before filing his nomination papers, Gunsola arrived at the Congress headquarters in the morning with a large number of his supporters. He was greeted there by the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, former chief minister Harish Rawat, his son and Congress candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha Virendra Rawat, former PCC president Pritam Singh, former cabinet minister Hira Singh Rawat and other senior leaders of the party.

Addressing the party workers the PCC president Karan Mahara said that the people are eager to throw the BJP out of the power in the Lok Sabha elections. He appealed to the party workers to work dedicatedly at the ground level to ensure the victory of the Congress candidates. Former PCC president Pritam Singh said that the huge turnout in the nomination rally of Gunsola has proved that the people have made up their mind for change. The people are reeling under the anti people policies of the BJP government. Singh exuded confidence that the Congress candidates will secure victory in all the five Lok Sabha seats in the State. The Congress candidate from Tehri Gunsola expressed his gratitude to the party workers for coming in large numbers for his nomination.
