Temperature crosses 40 degree in 19 cities of Madhya Pradesh

n Amidst the scorching heat in Madhya Pradesh, there was a period of thunderstorm and rain on Friday. The day temperature crossed 40 degrees in 19 cities of the state including Khandwa and Malajkhand while , it rained in Shajapur in the evening. The weather also changed in Ujjain, Agar, Rajgarh, Guna and Vidisha. Malajkhand and Khandwa remained the hottest. The temperature here remained at 42 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury also crossed 41 degrees in Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Shivpuri, Khajuraho, Khargone, Satna, Damoh and Rewa. Betul, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Guna, Sagar, Umaria and Naugaon recorded temperatures of 40 degrees or more. It is expected to rain for the next 3 days from April 21.

Met has issued alert of stormy winds and thunder storms in Dhar, Ujjain , Indore, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Guna, Asok Nagar districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is becoming active in the next two days. Which will have an impact in the state. Due to this, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Ujjain will also get drenched.

Earlier, on Thursday, for the first time in the season, there was intense heat in the state. Was the hottest stream. Naugaon, Guna, Shivpuri and Dhar were the hottest. The temperature here remained more than 41 degrees. Dhar recorded the highest of 41.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature remained more than 40 degrees in Betul, Sagar, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore, Khargone, Satna, Shajapur, Damoh, Ujjain, Rewa, Mandla, Malajkhand, Ratlam, Khajuraho and Narmadapuram.

In the next two days rainfall would be witnessed in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Dewas, Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Mandla, Balaghat and Dindori districts.

Many rainfall records were broken in April. About two and a half inches of rain fell in Bhopal. At the same time, a record has also been made that it rained for 11 consecutive days in April. There has been continuous rain in the state from April 7 to April 17. Now the state will get drenched again from April 21.
