To woo voters, BJP to organise nukkad nataks from May 1

The BJP is planning to organise Nukkad Nataks (street plays) in the national capital from May 1 to  May 23 in a bid to woo voters by highlighting the beneficial schemes and achievements of the Narendra Modi led NDA government before the public while on the other hand expose the corruption and misrule of the Arvind Kejriwal government.

 Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva watched a media trial show of the Nukaad Nataks (street plays) to be organised by the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 campaign in Delhi, along with media personnel on Friday.

“From Nukkad Nataks to Flash Mob, Delhi BJP will use various mediums to take Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message of development to the public. While on the other hand, it will also be used to expose the corruption and misrule of the Kejriwal Government,” Sachdeva said.

Further, he explained that along with nukkad nataks the Delhi BJP unit will also be using puppet shows, magic shows, poetry recitals, music bands, and flash mobs along with the street plays being shown in different languages to help take the message forward to more people. “Street plays influence every section of society, and since Delhi is a cosmopolitan city, this time they are also including some shows in English and regional languages,” he said.

On this occasion, Election Steering Committee Chief Ajay Mahavar, Deputy Chief Yogita Singh, and Gajendra Yadav, Media Chief Praveen Shankar Kapoor, and Vikram Mittal, along with several party officials, were present alongside Anuj Sharma, Chief Member of the Cultural Committee of BJP.

Emphasising that street plays influence every section of society, Sachdeva stated that this cultural campaign will commence on May 1 in the presence of senior party leaders. He further stated that prior to this, on Sunday, April 21st, at the I.G.I.
