Two-day 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave- 2024 inaugurated

n The 4th Samarth Bharat Conclave – 2024 was inaugurated by AISECT, India's leading social enterprise, at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium on Monday. The theme of this conclave is 'Role of skill development, financial inclusion and social entrepreneurship in building a developed India'.

In this two-day conference, subject matter experts from reputed institutions of the country working in the field of banking and financial inclusion participated as special guests on the first day.

This included State Bank of India General Manager Pramod Kumar Bansal, Central Bank of India Bhopal General Manager Tarsem Singh Zira, NABARD General Manager Qamar Javed, Reserve Bank of India Bhopal General Manager H.K. Soni, State Bank of India General Manager Neeraj Prasad, Canara Bank General Manager M. Bhaskar Chakraborty, AISECT Chairman Santosh Choubey, AISECT Executive Vice President Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi and ISECT Director Anurag Gupta were prominently present.

Apart from this, more than 1500 small entrepreneurs from across the country were also present in the program. During the programme, a presentation and film on Financial Inclusion was screened by AISECT and FI Brochure, Samarth and FI Kiosk Samvad and Jeet Ki Jashn 2024 campaign were launched. Besides, prominent entrepreneurs from across the country were also honored in the program for their excellent work.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Pramod Kumar Bansal, General Manager, State Bank of India, in his statement said that 1 out of every 50 SBI accounts in Madhya Pradesh is opened through iSect FI centre. This shows the impact of the work being done by AISECT. Also, an upskilling initiative has been taken by ISECT for these centres, which is a commendable step taken in the direction of developed India.

After this, General Manager of Central Bank of India, Bhopal, Tarsem Singh Zira said that AISECT is doing the work of taking the services provided under e-governance and financial inclusion to the last person. NABARD General Manager Qamar Javed, while talking to the entrepreneurs, mentioned the schemes of the Government of India and said that efforts should be made by the centers to create awareness about them among the people.

As an example, he said that Madhyanchal Gramin Bank had established itself as a profitable bank through its model of financial inclusion. This shows the strength and possibilities of the rural area.

Meanwhile, Reserve Bank of India General Manager H.K. Talking about Universal Access, Soni said that it was the effort of RBI that there should be an FI center within a radius of 5 km, which is now possible. He also told how by giving a dynamic form to the FI Center, various types of services can be provided and financial literacy can be spread in the rural parts of the country. Apart from this, Canara Bank General Manager M. Bhaskar Chakraborty gave many tips to FI centers to increase their income. In the presidential address of the session, ISECT Chairman Santosh Choubey said that to make India developed, we will have to focus mainly on the block and panchayat level, only then big change is possible.
