JTET advertisement cancelled
The Jharkhand Government has decided to cancel the advertisement of Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET). According to the information, the departmental minister, Ramdas Soren has also given his approval to this. Soon an advertisement will be published to conduct the JTET examination afresh.
When Ramdas Soren was asked in this regard, he admitted that he has approved the proposal to cancel the advertisement of the examination. He also said that in the interest of the students, an advertisement will soon be published to conduct the JTET examination afresh.
JTET is an important examination conducted by the Jharkhand Government, which assesses the qualifications of teachers. Through this examination, teachers are recruited in government schools of Jharkhand.
JAK had published an advertisement to conduct the JTET examination last year. According to that, applications were invited for the JTET examination from July 23 to September 26. But after inviting applications, the examination was stopped due to some discrepancies and irregularities in the syllabus. Now the government has decided to cancel the advertisement and is preparing to conduct the examination afresh.
About 3.5 lakh students had applied for the JTET examination, after Jharkhand became a separate state, the JTET examination was conducted only twice in the last 25 years, in 2013, about 68000 students passed the JTET examination and in 2016, about 53000 students passed the JTET examination.
