Renewal approved for 6 ultrasound centers in city

While deliberating on the representations received for registration and renewal of ultrasound centers, the committee approved registration of 8 centers and renewal of ultrasound registration for 6 centers.

Apart from this, in the meeting, the committee approved the joining of a total of 19 doctors after checking the entry and certificate of the machine in Form-B of 08 institutions.

As per the instructions of District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri, a meeting of the District Advisory Committee (PC and PNDT) was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Ranchi, Dinesh Kumar Yadav.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the registration, renewal of ultrasound centers, entry in Form-B of the machine to the institutions, joining of doctors and purchase and promotion of USG machine.

During the meeting, Yadav gave necessary and appropriate guidelines regarding the inspection of ultrasound centers. He said that the centre should be inspected at regular intervals and ensure that action is taken against those who violate the rules.

Civil Surgeon, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, Committee Members, Dr. Vandita, Dr. S. Baski and Magistrate Amrita Khakha, NGO representatives, District Program Manager (Health), Praveen Kumar Singh, other members and PC and PNDT Co-ordinator Mr. Rakesh Kumar Rai were present in the meeting.
