Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presided over a meeting between the MP Tourism Board and Finnish organization V Real on Thursday to discuss the application of modern technology at tourism sites, historical heritage locations, and museums in Madhya Pradesh.
An MoU was signed during the meeting. Yadav said that the virtual tour initiative will allow people interested in tourism, history, and culture to explore the rich heritage and glorious history of Madhya Pradesh from the comfort of their own countries. This initiative is expected to promote the state’s tourism sites and historical landmarks on a global scale, increasing international tourist visits.
The Chief Minister welcomed Finnish Ambassador to India, Shri Kimmo Lahdevirta, with a shawl and bouquet at Samatva Bhawan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence, and presented a coffee table book showcasing the state’s cultural heritage.
Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheoshekhar Shukla, shared that Finnish company V Real has been preserving history, culture, and heritage through advanced technology by producing high-quality videos. These virtual tours are made accessible on their platforms, which are available to the general public, including tour and travel institutes as well as educational institutions worldwide. With the MoU signed today, up-to-date information on the history and culture of Madhya Pradesh will be readily available in virtual form globally, enhancing the state’s global visibility. Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Board, Sushri Bidisha Mukherjee, along with CEO of V Real Institute Shri Johannes Swordstorm and other officials, were present at the MoU signing event.
