RRB NTPC Exam 2025: Know Your Shift Timing, Reporting Schedule & Important Instructions

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) posted shift timings for the RRB NTPC exam. The entrance ticket for the RRB NTPC examination is available right now. The exam will be conducted by RRB NTPC at the times of 9 AM to 10.30 AM, 12.45 to 2.25 PM and 4.30 PM to 6 PM, following the RRB NTPC exam timings. Shift times can be found on the RRB NTPC hall ticket. The exam has a specific time and all the candidates must report at that time. The RRB NTPC exam dates have been released. RRB NTPC 2025 Graduate Posts CBT 1 for the year 2025 will run from June 5 to June 24.
The RRB NTPC exam pattern states that the CBT 1 exam has questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning. All the marks for the test are 100. More details about RRB NTPC shift timings are listed below.
RRB NTPC Shift Timings 2025
The examination will be divided into three shifts: morning, afternoon and evening. Candidates are asked to be present at the exam center at least 30 minutes ahead of the start time. You can see the shift times for RRB NTPC below:
Shift 1
Reporting Time: 7:30 AM
Gate Closing Time: 8:30 AM
Exam Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Shift 2
Reporting Time: 11:15 AM
Gate Closing Time: 12:15 PM
Exam Time: 12:45 PM – 2:15 PM
Shift 3
Reporting Time: 3:00 PM
Gate Closing Time: 4:00 PM
Exam Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
RRB NTPC Exam Day Guidelines
RRB NTPC exam day guidelines are given below:
Mobile phones, pagers, watches, Bluetooth, calculators, more metallic wear and so on are some of the electronic gadgets not allowed in the exam hall
Candidates are forbidden from bringing writing implements inside the test centre.
Pens will supplied for use during the exam.
Candidates are advised not to apply henna/Mehendi because there will be biometric registration.
No candidate will be admitted inside the exam centre after the gate-closing time as mentioned in the RRB NTPC admit card for that date and time.
Students should identify their test centre and check how accessible it is one day before the test so that they arrive at the correct place promptly on the day of the test
Every candidate should show an original and valid photo identification card.
Question papers will be available for candidates to see in their chosen language and in English Language, as indicated when the application form was completed.
Roll number and name must be written by each candidate on the rough sheets. You need to send the rough sheets back after the test.
At the exam, biometric LTI, their photo, attendance, physical LTI and confirmed signature will be captured and no additional time is provided because it is part of the exam procedure
