The Chhattisgarh Police have felicitated 12 personnel in Raipur for outstanding performance in discharging their official duties, an official communiqué said on Wednesday.
Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh said this initiative will encourage other policemen to do good work.
Good behaviour towards the public will always be honoured, and strict action will be taken against policemen who indulge in illegal work and violate discipline or are negligent.
Those felicitated are ACCU Sub-inspector Santosh Puria and Head Constable Sarfaraz Chisti, Head Constable Bachchan Thakur of Amanaka police station, Constable Sudeep Mishra of Khamtarai police station, Constable Kishan Banjare Tatka of Rakhi police station and Constable Pritam of Purena station, Constables Pramod Behra and Babita Devangan, Constable Kuldeep Dwivedi, Constable Revendra Madhukar (Traffic), Constable Akhilesh Sahu and Assistant Sub-Inspector Anubhav John.
