Garhwa police have arrested three youths and recovered eight country made weapons at village Hoor under Garhwa Police Station limit, on Monday, police said. 

Recovered weapons can be used to intimidate people and influence voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, SP. Dipak Pandey said. On a secret tip off a police team led by Garhwa Thana in charge K K Sahu raided at the house of one Subham Paswan and recovered with seven weapons including four country-made pistols, three 3.65 mm semi-automatic pistols, two magazines and seven live cartridges of 7.65 mm and two empty cartridges of 0.315 mm hidden in a sack under the bed.  While a country-made rifle was recovered from the house of Rakesh Chaudhary which was bought from the Pappu Chaudhary, SP added. 

Police arrested  all three criminals in the connection. 

 During the initial interrogation, Shubham Paswan said that these weapons were  bought by Satyendra Choubey from Pappu Chaudhary, but as soon as Pappu Chaudhary was arrested, Satyendra Choubey gave it to  Shubham to hide due to fear of getting arrested. 

Superintendent of Police Pandey said that in this case, intensive raids are being conducted to arrest Satyendra Choubey. 

 Pappu Chaudhary is a history-sheeter, he does the work of supplying weapons and has gone to jail several times, SP informed.
