Under the orders of Collector Indore Ashish Singh, under the direction of Assistant Excise Commissioner Indore Manish Khare and under the guidance of Excise Control Room Incharge ADEO  R H Pachauri and under the leadership of ADEO Ramcharan Dawar during patrolling, information was received from the informer that a white colored pickup number MP11G5886 was going from Indore via Rau towards Dhar.

This vehicle was filled with liquor. After informing the staff and senior officers of Excise Circle, Mhow, Sub Inspector Amarsingh Baghel immediately set up a blockade after seeing the appropriate place at the address given by the informer. Within some time the vehicle was seen arriving as indicated by the indicator. 

The staff stood alert, when we came near the vehicle with the number indicated by the indicator, when the excise team asked the driver to stop the vehicle with a hand gesture. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the driver drove away at high speed. After chasing the vehicle, the vehicle was stopped by overtaking in front of Mahakal Dhaba in Piplia Malhar on Rau Indore AB Road.

The driver of the vehicle stopped the vehicle and got down from the vehicle and ran away, whom the staff tried to catch but he ran away taking advantage of the darkness. When the Excise Force searched the vehicle, 115 boxes of Bolt Beer cans were found in it. Excise team took possession of the vehicle and liquor. The search for the absconding accused continues

The estimated market value of vehicle and liquor is Rs 1131200.

Due to illegal collection and transportation of liquor, a case under section 34(1) A, 34(2) of Madhya Pradesh Excise Act has been registered and the matter has been taken under investigation. The search for the absconding accused is ongoing.
