India's knowledge tradition has been ancient and strong: Vasant Shinde

Vigyan Bharati Madhya Bharat Prant organized a lecture on “India's Knowledge Science Tradition” on the birthday of Late Jayantrao Sahastrabuddhe on Wednesday at the State Animal Husbandry Training Institute Auditorium, Vaishali Nagar, Bhopal.

India's knowledge tradition has been ancient and strong. The research of the Rakhigarhi site of Harappa has been considered authentic by the whole world and its entire research has been done in India only. Indian scientists have developed their own methodology and done research on Rakhigarhi. We have been able to make so much progress only because our knowledge tradition is strong.

For the first time in the world, evidence of use of jute, wool and silk has been found in India only. This statement was made by the main speaker of this program, Dr. Vasant Shinde, a famous archaeologist, founder of the South Asian Archeology Society and former Vice Chancellor of Deccan College. Dr. Vasant Shinde is also world famous for DNA testing of the Rakhigarhi site of Harappan culture. He said that we will be able to move forward only by learning from the Indian scientific tradition.

In this program, Chairman of the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee, Prof. Ravindra Ramchandra Kanhere was the special guest, Prof. Kanhere said in his statement that National Research Foundation has been established for basic research in India, which will help in research work keeping in view the basic needs of the country, updated knowledge and future demand. He Said that foreign funding for research in the field of technology is not in the interest of India but in the interest of foreign countries.

He said in his statement that Europe and America have always given second and third class technology to India, but we have used our knowledge, science and technology. With his skill he has hoisted his flag in the field of science in the world.

The program was presided over by Ashok Pandey, Honorable Province Sanghchalak Madhya Bharat Province.

Before this, the outline and introduction of the program was presented by Prof. Sudhir Singh Bhadauria, General Secretary of Vigyan Vigyan Bharti. Regional Organization Secretary of Vigyan Bharati Bharat Province, Vivaswan said in his statement that the soul of the world is India and Swami Vivekananda has done the work of bringing traditional knowledge on the world stage.

An important aspect of our culture is that we are not person relative but goal relative.

It is known that Late. Jayantrao Sahastrabuddhe was a famous thinker and philosopher, who worked till his last days on making science accessible to the common people as an indigenous movement. This lecture series was organized in his memory. The book “Contribution of Indian Scientists in the Indian Freedom Struggle” written by Sahastrabuddhe and his lectures on it have been discussed in the entire country.

Members of Vigyan Bharati Madhya Bharat Province, enlightened citizens of the society, Vice Chancellors of various universities, Directors of Research and National Institutes, Directors General, dignitaries, teachers, professors and students participated in this program.
