At the Annual Awards Distribution Ceremony hosted by "Huladec" – E Waste Management Company, Karim City College, Jamshedpur, clinched the top honor. The ceremony, held at the Dhonho Dhanyo Auditorium, Kolkata, saw Karim City College being bestowed with the Remarkable Dedication Award by Huladec. Manav Ghosh, President of the National Service Scheme (NSS), accepted the award on behalf of the college. Huladec, with branches nationwide, specializes in the collection and recycling of e-waste materials.
Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz conveyed his congratulations on the college's achievement. Present at the ceremony were Dr. Aale Ali, Syed Sajid Parvez, Dr. B.N. Tripathi, Dr. Aftab Alam Khan, and Dr. Tanveer Jamal Kazmi. Dr. Mohammad Reyaz highlighted that Karim City College continues to excel not only academically but also in various other domains. Speaking on e-waste management, NSS Program Officer Dr. Ale Ali and NSS Coordinator Syed Sajid Parvez mentioned the establishment of a dedicated department within the college for e-waste management.
This accolade adds to Karim City College's previous success, as they were also awarded the first prize for e-waste management in 2023.
