Lok Sabha polls: Modi to address rally in Meerut on March 30

Wednesday, 27 March 2024 | PNS | Lucknow

With the Lok Sabha elections drawing near, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to embark on a series of rallies, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to address a mammoth gathering in Meerut on March 30.

According to a senior BJP leader, “Prime Minister Modi will commence the election campaign from the heartland of western Uttar Pradesh, setting the stage for an electrifying political showdown.”

As preparations for the rally gain traction, BJP leaders are leaving no stone unturned to ensure its resounding success. The rally is anticipated to ignite political fervour across western Uttar Pradesh.

Notably, the participation of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary adds a significant dimension to the event.

Sharing the stage with PM Modi for the first time, Jayant’s presence underscores the evolving alliances and strategic imperatives shaping the electoral landscape.

The convergence of PM Modi and Jayant Chaudhary on the political platform signifies a nuanced shift in political dynamics, highlighting the BJP’s outreach efforts and coalition-building strategies.

As the rally in Meerut approaches, it holds the promise of setting the tone for an intense electoral contest in the region. With the BJP’s concerted efforts to galvanise support and consolidate its electoral base, the event is poised to be a pivotal moment in the lead-up to the Lok Sabha elections.
