RaGa to visit J'khand on May 7

Former Congress National president and star campaigner Rahul Gandhi will come to Jharkhand on a one-day visit on May 7.

 

During his tour, he will first address an election meeting at Tata College Chaibasa at 11:30 am in support of JMM candidate, Joba Manjhi. After this, Rahul Gandhi will address an election rally at 2 pm in support of Congress candidate Sukhdev Bhagat in Konveer of Basia in Gumla district. State spokesperson Sonal Shanti gave this information while releasing the approval program from AICC.

 

Shanti also said that necessary guidelines have been issued to the concerned districts regarding Rahul Gandhi's visit. He said that instructions have been given to the workers and leaders of Ranchi, Khunti, Gumla and Lohardaga to make the general meetings successful at both the places. "Besides, the preparations at the meeting venue are also being reviewed continuously. Apart from this, necessary preparations are being made for the meeting by establishing better coordination with the constituent parties and candidates of India," he added.

 

Sonal Shanti informed that this is Rahul Gandhi  first visit to the four seats to be held in the first phase of Jharkhand and both the meetings to be held will be unprecedentedly successful. "Even before this, Rahul Gandhi had stayed in Jharkhand for 8 days as part of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and became aware of the feelings and problems of the people here. Knowing the problems of Jharkhand, the Congress manifesto has given a guarantee to solve them," he added.

 

Meanwhile, Congress attacked BJP and said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's programme has been unsuccessful in Jharkhand.

 

Talking to media persons at the oarty headquarter in the State Capital, Congress State In-Charge, Ghulam Ahmed Mir has said that 140 crore people of the entire Country know that Rahul Gandhi is not a prince but a martyr.

 

Mir also said that Prince is the Prime Minister's favorite word which he uses during elections, so let me tell him that Rahul Gandhi comes from a family which has a history of sacrifice from before achieving independence till after independence. "But the whole country knows what contribution Modi has made to the country from the community he comes from," he added.
