GGSIPU signs MoU with University of Ladakh

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Ladakh (UoL) to foster research and education programmes for students, scholars and faculty members. As per the MoU, both the universities will mutually plan and conduct lectures/ workshops/conferences at the state/national/international level. The students will undertake field visits, trainings, internships, placements, etc. They will jointly undertake study/research projects, and collectively develop MOOCs and learning modules in the area of Information and communication technology, Entrepreneurship and value-added/skill enrichment programmes for students.

The Cottage New Carpet Gallery inaugurated

New Delhi: Rachna Shah, IAS Secretary (Textiles) inaugurated the New Carpet  Gallery at “the Cottage “ on April 4 in the presence of Manoj Lal, Managing Director, The Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd, Ajay Gupta, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Amrit Raj, Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Dr M Beena, IAS, Development Commissioner (Handlooms). The Indian carpets are prized possessions of any Art Connoisseur.
