BMC Commissioner expresses displeasure over dying trees and plants on Hoshangabad road

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Harendra Narayan expressed displeasure after spotting drying trees and plants on the side verge and green belt on Hoshangabad Road.

He had come to inspect the areas around Hoshangabad Road. He instructed the garden supervisor to give notice to the garden supervisor.

At the same time, people were warned about sewage flowing on the road.

Corporation Commissioner Narayan inspected various areas on Hoshangabad Road on Tuesday. Expressed displeasure over not taking proper care of trees and plants etc. planted in the side verge and green belt from RRL to Bagh Sevaniya police station, Misrod and not having proper arrangements for irrigation etc.

Besides, instructions were given to issue notices and impose fines on Jio and Idea companies for not making cable chambers systematically by the mobile companies.

The Corporation Commissioner called for immediate removal of garbage from BRTS bus stops, better cleaning of roads, drains and other places, immediate removal of C&D waste, garbage etc. and imposition of fine on landowners who throw C&D waste near liquor shops. Instructions were given to remove gumthi, acacia bushes etc. and to repair the sewage chamber and road cross.

Corporation Commissioner Narayan also expressed his displeasure over the haphazardly constructed chambers by mobile companies in the green belt in front of Ashima Mall and directed to issue notices to the concerned Jio/Idea companies and impose fines. Instructions were given to remove the C&D waste lying in Ahmedpur and issue a notice to the concerned landowner to collect the fine or credit the fine amount in the property tax account of the concerned and asked to immediately remove illegally constructed stall, shanties, kiosks and other types of garbage including acacia bushes around the liquor shop located in Jatkhedi.
