The Election Commission of India today issued a notification regarding the appointment of Deoghar SP, Dumka IG, Palamu DIG and new SP of Ranchi Rural. Deoghar SP Ajit Peter Dungdung was removed after the Election Commission made allegations against Nishikant Dubey. After this, the Commission had sought a panel from the State Government regarding the appointment, after the panel from the State Government, the Commission has appointed Rakesh Ranjan as the new SP of Deoghar. A Vijay Lakshmi has been given the responsibility of IG of Dumka, IPS officer YS Ramesh has been made DIG of Palamu division and Sumit Kumar Aggarwal has been made SP of Ranchi Rural.
