For voter awareness under Lok Sabha General Election, 2024, a football match was organized between the District Administration and Talent Center Lohardaga at Nadia Hindu High School, Lohardaga on Tuesday. The match was started by kicking the football by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna. In this, the Deputy Commissioner got introduced to all the participants and appealed to all the eligible voters to exercise their suffrage in the upcoming elections to be held in Lohardaga district on 13 May 2024.
The Deputy Commissioner said that you should motivate yourself and all the eligible voters in your family to vote. Voting is to be held in Lohardaga district on 13 May. All of you should participate enthusiastically in this great festival of democracy.
The Deputy Commissioner administered the voter oath to all the present participants, officials and personnel. On this occasion, he encouraged everyone to make efforts to increase the voting percentage in the district. Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Senior Officer Sweep Cell Sita Pushpa, District Public Relations Officer Shivnandan Baraik, District Sports Officer Upvan Bada, Municipal Council Administrator Jaipal Singh, District Icon of Sweep National Wrestling Player Ajita Kumari, Ranji Cricket Player Ashish Kumar were present in the program. A large number of participants including state level cricket player and coach Amit Kumar were present.
